Always check the reading on your meter to insure it corresponds with your billing. Because we read your meter several weeks before the bill is produced, your meter reading should be slightly higher than the reading on your billing. If there is a significant difference between the reading on your meter and the present reading on your bill please contact our office. Click here for details.

Water and Sewer Rates |

Your
account is important to us and we desire to provide you with a
safe, clean, high quality water product. The Oskaloosa Water Department bills residential accounts on a quarterly basis. Your bill includes water and sewer charges. Both charges are based upon the amount of water that flows through your water meter. Water flow is measured in 100 cubic foot units. If your bill shows your usage as 12, you used 1200 cubic feet of water. 100 cubic feet equals 748 gallons. The bill also includes a storm water utility fee. The Oskaloosa Water Department owns the water meter in your residence and as an account holder you are responsible for the care of the water meter. If you are experiencing a loss of water pressure, we can help you identify the cause. If you have any questions about this or other water service issues, please contact our office.
